June 2010
Discovery Channel
On June 5, 2010 came again to Cuernavaca the team of the Discovery Channel to make a program about our work.
This are some of the pictures during the recording of the program. It was a very long day and we recorded about 16 hrs. in a single day, but I think they have some very good material for the program.
In this picture you can see their van with some of the equipment they bring, lots of very expensive equipment with the last technology in high definition TV but the best equipment is the human team that is very professional and did a very good work, that's why the Discovery Channel is my favorite channel really.
In this picture you can see Chris Gargus director of photography installing one of the top cameras in the ceiling, you can see another high definition very small camera at the ceiling in front, other cameras are for close ups and details that are the moving cameras, very expensive equipment.
In this picture I am assembling the rocket kart with the help of Héctor Knapp that don't appear in this picture because he took this picture during the film.
She is Frances MacKinnon the producer for Daily Planet of Discovery Channel checking some scenes.
Chris Gargus director photography adjusting the lights and reflectors trying to find the best light effect, Chris is a very professional photographer and he got a very nice effect on the garage for the interview, of course the trash can is not in the scene.
During the interview you can see the light effects Chris got with the trees and rocket engine behind me.
