Two of the fastest quarter mile rocket dragsters has been the Vanishing Point and the Oxygen from Sammy Miller.
In 1984 Sammy Miller broke the world speed record with his rocket funny car "Vanishing Point" at the Santa Pod track in England and ran the quarter mile or 402 meters in 3.54 seconds at a speed of 621 km / h (386 mph) but more impressive was the speed he reached in the 1 / 8 mile or 201 meters at a speed of 513.27 km / h in just 2.51 seconds!
These videos of the Vanishing Point and the Oxygen of Sammy Miller shows the tremendous power of these engines that are infinitely more powerful than an internal combustion engine, in addition they last forever.
In 2008 TAM started the construction of two rocket dragsters very similar to the Vanishing Point and Oxygen rocket cars of Sammy Miller and the rocket propulsion systems built by TAM.
